Re: Movie adaptations you liked better - and why

That's a good point. I just, there was so much of the HPB book that I hated. Really hated. Some of the stuff seemed way out of character. So I appreciated that the movie cut those parts. Harry wasn't acting like the big man on campus, and he was showing some of the emotional fallout I was expecting from OOTP but never got in the book. Hermione and Ron were circling each other, but it never really got as bad as it did in the book (except the bird scene which they included). And while I wished we'd gotten some of the more confident Ginny, at least we didn't have the stuff like flying into Zacharias. Just, generally, the characters weren't behaving like jerks.
