Oh yes Fitz/Simmons is the same for me, liked it that way to begin with but as season 1 went on it became more of a 'like the ship in fanon, don't want it to be canon' kind of thing, plus I ended up liking Simmons/Tripp more.

TBH I like Simmons better with just about anyone else. When the show first started I thought Simmons/May would be cool, then they had like no scenes together, so that didn't take off...

And even though I'm not really into the pairing, I could see Simmons/Sky. Simmons/Tripp and Simmons/Bobbi were also both excellent pairings.

I've only really shipped Fitz with Ward (before shit went down, then lolnope) and then with Mack (LIKE BURNING).

Oh man I so feel that Fitz/Ward may have been something I totally could have been into, but like you LOL NOPE at the reveal, and I was even more NOPE over Skye/Ward as well(when it had been an 'eh' neutral ship).

Fitz/Mack was good, I enjoyed that too and while not an active shipper of Simmons/Skye I could definitely read fic about it.

Skye, oops. But yes, there are very few pairings I am as lolnope about as Skye/Ward. I wasn't for or against it until the reveal either, then Ward's rapey comment happened and I was even MORE lolnope.

He was so creepily fixated on her too, but I did like that she went from 'hey you're cute and maybe wanna date you' to 'OMG NO, WAT, HELP'. I give them points for that at least.

I can do messed up ships but Skye/Ward was just a huge nope for me(don't care if other people ship it though).

Sure, I mean, I ship one of the 'worst' (Hannibal/Will represent, haha) so I can't say "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!", but in this particular case it doesn't appeal to me.

The rapey comment really did shatter the last hope of me ever shipping it, though.

I think if Skye had been more morally shady I could have run with it, because lord knows I have some messed up pairings in my ship-list, but she was set-up as being a morally good character so it would have been out of place I think to go there.

That too. I couldn't see Skye being okay with any of what Ward had done, or would do. She wanted away, and she wanted away fast. Couldn't imagine her changing her mind about him, at least not enough to have any sort of romantic relationship with him. (Even friendship would be a massive stretch for me.)

Ugh, Fitz/Mack was so beautiful! I mean, it ticked like ALL of my kink boxes. Why did they take it away from me *cries*

But really, I just loved Mack and Fitz's friendship. It seemed so...wholesome and beneficial to both of them. It being super adorable was just a bonus.

Oh, yes. Mack and Fitz were definitely one of my favorite things about S2 (the bit I watched, lol) and if the show isn't going to continue to explore that relationship then SHAME ON THEM. It was such a lovely friendship; Mack didn't coddle Fitz, but he was supportive and gave him exactly what he needed, and it was just so nice to see Fitz connect to someone (who wasn't Simmons) in what felt like a pretty profound way. Man, they were so sweet together and had the best chemistry.

Plus, they would've been a hot couple. (And Fitz thought Mack was hot, too! Never 4get the scene with imaginary!Simmons discussing Mack's bod.)

I miss them. (Haven't watched the show since late S2, I think?)

Oh my god, yes, that scene with them ogling Mack was amazing. I was really not expecting it at all. It still makes me giggle.
