Snape has always been one of my favorite characters since he is so interesting but I hope the movie shows how he picked the dark side. I want to see how Sirius is the instigator when it came to bullying. I want to see James be an ass but then grow up and realize that he hurt Severus. And I want to see Peter get the snot knocked out of him.

And PLEASE no MarySue Lily. I want her to be like a normal girl caught between a former friend who she still cares about and her boyfriend. Just don't make her perfect like fandom tends to do.

Lily is practically perfect in canon too, imo. She doesn't get much depth because we only really hear about her from people who are distraught that she died.

The thing is, I don't recall him ever in canon realizing he hurt Severus or that it was bad enough to warrant an apology in his eyes. And I want to see this view people have of James Potter addressed.
