As hot as the fanart is, the idea of Hibari willingly having sex with anybody...uh. The art's amazing, though. One of my favorite things about the fandom, to be sure.

Precisely why I can't get myself to like D18. I mean, even his future self doesn't give two shits about something other than power, even though he seems more interested in Tsuna.

Oh definitely, the art... I'll watch all art, and read almost all pairings because they can be written believably, at least most of them, but Hibari... he's just so tricky and hard to get wrong.

I love D18 irrationally, but I think I might've been swayed by the fact that hey, there was whip-tying in CANON. Just imagine the possibilities!

Hibari is tricky. I end up dancing in my chair whenever I find something that I feel really gets him right, because he's hard to pull off well.

Ahaha, that WAS hot, yes. But Hell, even XANXUS is shippable easier than Hibari, which is... saying something.

I love Hibari, but I'm too scared to wade through the characterisations until I find one that complements mine a good deal.

I don't read much Hibari fic because I'm insanely picky about him. But the RP I play in wound up with a player who pretty much has him spot on to how I read him, so that's enough to put me in my happy zone!

Luuuucky. Yeah, Hibari is like walking a tightrope. Too much of one thing [like omg caring about people] or being introspective like a poet [the sakura smelled of the growth of apples] and it's like, whaaaaat. xD; He's just... very one-sided, and people insist on making him deeper than he really is. xD;

I've never liked when people put in some kind of tragic/abusive past to explain Hibari. I DON'T THINK HE'S THAT DEEP. HE JUST LIKES BEATING PEOPLE UP. XD

...Sob see this is exactly why I avoid fanfiction involving Hibari. He probably sleeps at Namimori and is... haha older than the other people [didn't Ryohei say Hibari had been class president for a long time?], and he just bums around Namimori. I think his existence was more intended as an 'o Reborn' kind of thing than an 'I anticipate him to have an angsty past' like... his image song ahaha o Hibari.
