I mean, it's a complicated issue, and if it had been some other character doing that to Bjurman in Salander's name, it would put me off. Like...by saying that I love that scene, it's not that I want to glorify vengeance in general.

But I found that entire movie (and the series, of course) so refreshing in the way it treated Salander as a character and the way she dealt with what was done to her. For me, it just felt so satifying and heartening to see a narrative that showed a woman having a different response to rape than the usual hollywood approved one.
