Anyone play?

Am liking the ambient atmosphere, very artsy and pretty. I THINK I like the "you die once the game is over", except I have yet to make it past 59 days. Current run is at 52 days and I am hunting bears to make a fur sleeping bag. This feels very risky...

I do like how quiet and empty it is but wonder an awful lot as what happened as it is like everyone...just left, looking forward to the single player story. As a bonus, you can be a lady on both SP and sandbox! The SP is still being developed I think.

Oh, I love that game! It's so damn pretty and calming (when one isn't being attacked by wolves or bears). I haven't checked it out in while though. I think they added a third sandbox area a couple months ago that I haven't been to yet.

I confess, I'm a big baby so I'm playing in pilgrim :P Bears will still attack me but wolves only attack if you start it.

Yeah some mountain? Haven't been there yet, I just reached coastal highway. Looking forward to trying to fish!

Yeah, I usually play in pilgrim, too. I remember last time I played there was a totally new are accessible via the dam (or it had already been there and I just never found it, lol) so I immediately abandoned all my plans for that playthrough to explore that area. And then I died.

iirc you can fish at the lake, where the fishing cabins are, can't you?

Hm... I know winding river is immediately after the dam, not sure where it leads to. Pleasant Valley maybe? I've only been in Mystery Lake, 2 inbetween areas and now the highway. I think there's actually 5 maps all up now?

Yeah! The little shacks have frozen over fishing holes you can break open. Can catch a surprisingly large amount of fish before line breaks, if lucky.

I wish I could afford that game. Right now I can barely afford food :/

:( Fair enough, yeah I think it's like $15 or $20 right now? It was on sale for $10 around christmas but still a stretch when food is at stake!

I think it will be in beta for awhile yet, so hopefully you can still get it cheap. My understanding is the end price when released will be about $40...

That much? I heard good things about it but the USD price is terrible in my country and I'm broke :(

It's 9.99 Euros currently on the Humble Store if Euro is a better currency for you. (I know it is for me at least.)

Same, unless I am selling I hate the US dollar soooo much right now, effectively have to double it to get my currency
