No I didn't. I said Snape disliked her because she was a know-it-all. That doesn't mean she deserves to be treated in such a fashion, it just means that he didn't take issue with her parentage.

I thought it was pretty clear that anon was discussing Snape's motivations. Anon said:

"Because she was a know-it-all who would talk out of turn, not because of her parentage."

in regards to Snape's behavior. Implication: Snape bullied her because she was a know-it-all. Implication: Hermione being a know-it-all is Snape's opinion.

Plus, you know, the context of the whole thread.
