With two exceptions, any game that lets me play female characters I'm going to play female characters in because I simply have a harder time identifying with the dude characters in nearly all the games I play, and that includes the make-your-own-fucko games like a lot of RPGs.

I don't think your personal experience really gets to dictate the validity or lack thereof of the original complaint.
