PostSecret is kind of weird/hard to navigate, though. It's nothing like as easy to have conversations or even keep track of anything on the site as F!S is.

There used to be, it was called LJsecret, but it's dead now.

maybe that would be The Thing that would invigorate f!s- posting rl secrets alongside with fandom secrets.
Or maybe we could specify one day per week for off topic secrets. Many secrets that are about the social life of fandom go into that direction already and our second page is very lively.

at least I enjoy reading about everyone's lives and experiences. most here would agree that the community is a huge draw of f!s anyway.

although there has been an influx of secrets and more discussion lately (thanks secret posters!)

I wish there was one that was like F!S in it's active commenting. We do have that sometimes in the GC but there are definitely days I wish things like ljsecret had better luck.

I think there's a reason stuff like that never really gets successful though. Sure some people are going to have secrets about political opinions and other things people can relate to and discuss, but from what I've seen, quite a lot of secrets end up being things like 'I regret marrying you', which apart from not everyone being able to relate to, can also put off the people who DO relate to it.

As others mentioned, postsecrect.com but if you want the conversation, there is http://postsecret.livejournal.com/ - where the secrets are posted and you can talk about them in the comments. There aren't a lot of comments though.

I always say "I wish there were more comments" and never comment myself. /part of the problem
