Making a thread because I need help with naming my newest dragon and figured other people might have things to talk about. How's your festival going?

So I bought this guy on a whim after randomly scrying and falling in love with the color combination. He's going to become a spiral. But I have no idea what to name him. Something nerdy, but I'm not sure what.

Hahaha. That's actually kind of cool. He does look like an oil spill (though less so as a spiral). But it would ruin the nerdy naming theme I've got going on.

Examples of the nerdy names so we know what kind of nerdy you mean? Nerdy could mean anything from math trivia to long dead Sumerian kings to Teen Wolf

Most of my dragons are Tolkien themed, but I have some Doctor Who ones and some Star Wars ones. A few mythology ones as well.

I've been out of town and have had much less computer time, so sadly I've only gotten festival currency from gathering turns and such. But I did nab one of the familiars and crowns already, so yay?

I've gotten a lot busier so I've kind of realized I'm going through food much faster than I'm earning, since I don't have much time to Coli. and I have like 80 dragons, oops. I think I need to go on an exalt spree, since my auctions keep failing! I can't really seem to sell anything besides Butterflies, and those are going way down in price now, too.

I've been too busy studying to grind. I bought 2 skins that I wanted. I got 2 chests given to me from Fire's give and get thread. And I've been making a lot of snow in Baldwin. I'm really obsessed with the chillspike crown.

My flight decided to grind this week, so I got rid of a bunch of fodder. And some things have been selling. I find certain color groups sell. My volcano dragons sell. Doubles with glimmer tend to sell depending on which colors.

I had one of those "I must impulse buy a dragon" nights last night and now I'm obsessed with the lore I'm making between her and the only other dragon in her age group (2013-born) where they're both the sassy grannies of the clan who pick at each other. Like, the one I got last night is a Tundra from Ice, and she's now the one who sasses the "swamp witch" Nature Mirror.

Also been doing well with Crystalline Gala. Managed to get what I needed for my Gala Skydancer. Can't wait until next month to get what I need for my Trickmurk Coatl. (And then the month after for my Mistral Skydancer.)

It's going well, the ice skins are so pretty this year! I just haven't collected many of them yet.


I was able to breed my crystal/facet Imps recently which was awesome. Now I want to breed dragons with poison, vipera and butterfly wings, though not necessarily all together.
