Everyone agrees with you, OP.

...Not really? I mean if OP is talking about the art/character design, then yeah, everyone I've ever seen agrees the 2D style was better.

But regarding Adrien vs Felix personalitywise, I was kinda pleased they decided not to go with the arrogant aloof asshole version of the character. I got bored of that kind of character in girl-oriented media a long time ago. It might have worked out here, we'll never know; but I find it awfully overdone in general (and in 95% of the cases I hate it).

I like the Adrien personality a great deal more. He's more open, kind and not a deceptive asshole like he seems to be in the original concept idea. That sort of "heal with good vibes" shtick is old, too and I'm more in tune with the one that is currently on.
