I didn't keep links, but I remember Ian Jones-Quartey calling out bullies and getting shit on for it. I think some other show-associated people jumped into the fray as well. (To my knowledge, Rebecca Sugar didn't directly comment, but she did say some general stuff about tolerance and the spirit of the show.)

It's true. I follow a few of the SU story borders on tumblr, and when the whole Zamii thing happened, most of them made posts addressing it as well and (politely) told the more obnoxious fans to cut the bullying crap out.

The Zamii bullies of course didn't give a shit and just attacked and spread rumors about the SU staff members in return.

Sucks that their message didn't get through to those idiots, but I respect them for sticking up for her and calling those bullies out regardless. That's cool.
