I suddenly became very into it about a year ago and now I can't stop, it's like a disease. The sunset piece is WAY bigger and more elaborate than anything I've done thus far but here are some of the things I've made:

Not cross stitch, but my first attempt at the related blackwork (it was easier than it looks as it's simply laid out on a repeating grid):

Those are awesome! I've never seen blackwork done in colors before. I like it.

I've been cross stitching since I was about 10, so around 25 years. Lately I've been doing anime cross stitch - I'm currently in the middle of Death the Kid from Soul Eater, and my long term project is Starry Night. I've been working on that one off and on for a couple of years and am only about half way through. My husband's working on a really nice Hogwarts school crest.

Edit: I just realized this sounds like Starry Night is anime-related. It's Van Gogh, not anime, obviously.
