Okay, assume the people in these scenarios are extremely attractive and have other positive attributes that you like. Would you date:

- a hardcore vegan? (If you eat meat, they wouldn't judge you for it, but they would refuse to eat with you if you were eating meat).

- someone with a dumb sexuality label? (They call themselves a demiromantic quasi-gray-asexual or something like that. They get offended when someone doesn't take these labels seriously).

- a giant furry (They don't require you to do weird furry shit with them in the sack, but they do sometimes own a fursuit and sometimes wear it out in public. They won't keep it a secret for your sake. If someone like one of your relatives or friends mentions furries, they will proudly announce they are one and that they go to furry conventions).

- a fictionkin (They actually believe they're the reincarnation of a fictional character and want you to call them by that fictional character's name).

- a hardcore anime nerd? (Needs to sleep with a bodypillow. Has a massive collection of figures out on display and refuses to hide them when the folks come to visit).

- one of those weird people who refuses to ever wear shoes and walks around barefoot EVERYWHERE. (Let's be real, we all know one of these).

Honestly no. The last one is the most "dateable" of them for me out of them.

I'd date all of them except the furry. I have nothing against furries, but costumes like those freak me out.

1) Yep. I enjoy learning about new recipes and I'm trying to eat a little healthier so I think there could be a lot of bonding there.

2) Yep. I get it. I really do. I think most extra sexuality labels are just that, extra, and therefor unnecessary. But it's not hurting anyone, and I completely understand wanting to be able to define a part of yourself that may be confusing.

3) It would depend? Probably not, but that's because if they are so into being a furry, and I am not, it seems like THEY probably shouldn't date ME. That's a big part of their life that I cannot and will not share in, and they deserve someone who will be on board with that.

4) Not a chance. And I would recommend professional help.

5) Tiny teenage me was super into anime so I think we'd have a lot in common.

6) I would be that person if I wasn't such a wuss about messes/pain. I love shoes, but I can't stand socks. In the summer I'm either barefoot or in flip flops.

The second, third, and fourth are no-goes. The first, fifth, and last would depend on qualifiers. For the first - would they refuse to eat with me AT ALL if I had meat on my plate, or just refuse to eat whatever dish I had with meat? I could work around someone being vegan, especially since I don't consume an inordinate amount of meat myself and support many common reasons people cite for being vegan. The fifth is okay except the body pillow - can't do that. The last is okay if they make exceptions for places they could seriously hurt themselves, and keep their feet clean, though, honestly, now that I think about it, it might weird me out enough in the end to be a dealbreaker. (I actually don't know anyone who does that so I haven't given it much thought)

I guess ANY of those if they're sane-ish and fun to be with? I guess fictionkin might not work that sense, unless they saw it more as a spiritual rather than a literal thing.

The dumb sexuality label in itself might be fine...the getting offended if people get it wrong would be a red flag for me, though.

Out of all of them, maybe anime guy if the pillow/figures are the furthest he'd go in making the anime he likes a regular part of his lifestyle.

The anime nerd would be most likely (I know next to nothing about anime), but the body pillow would weird me out. All the other ones are no go, I either disagree with them or your kink is not my kink.

Assuming I was single? No to all of them with the possible exception of the anime nerd. Change "anime" to "MCU" or any fandom I'm actually into, and I'm so there.

1. I eat meat. Unabashedly. Sharing meals is a Thing. If they couldn't bring themselves to eat with me when I was eating meat? Buh-bye.

No to all but the vegan one and the shoe one, but only if they're clean.

Everybody but the fictionkin. Mainly because I have enough mental issues that someone with a shaky fiction/reality divide would not do me any good as far as my peace of mind goes. The other stuff is just weird, but so am I, although not in any of those ways and I don't think anything strange that I do is that extreme.

The anime nerd's massive collection of figures on display wouldn't bother me, as long as it didn't interfere with other financial goals, I like anime but I couldn't get behind the body pillows. because lbr it's the "has all the other attributes you want" here, which includes being both hotter than fuck and respectful to me. all the others have qualifiers hinting that their habits/preferences/mental issues are more important to them than the comfort or intelligence of their S.O., but anime guy just has a pillow and figures and well I have a pillow and figures so hey we can merge our collections.

Barefoot and vegan would be doable.

Maybe on the anime. I like anime a fair and I don't have an issue with the body pillow, but they gotta hide their powerlevel for me. I'm cool with anime titties, but I wouldn't be able to face the shame in my mother's eyes.

Some of the others would be fine if they didn't take it seriously and toned it down a lot, but as you've defined it, no, I guess not.

1) No. I have never met a sane vegan, plus I like to cook and I want a partner who is willing to eat the things I cook.

2) No. Special snowflakes are a huge turnoff to me.

3) Sure. I've met some furries and they were all nice, fun people.

4) No. That's just creepy and weird.

5) Sure. No weirder than a huge sports fan and there are plenty of those around.

6) Sure, as long as they aren't harming themselves by doing it (i.e. not wearing shoes in the snow or something stupid like that)
