I'm a bit confused with this secret. Why would you mimic something that makes you uncomfortable?

There do seem to be many writers that unintentionally write noncon, which is unfortunate. I really hate it when I read a fic expecting something cute and get hit with noncon instead.

I read a fic where the opposite happened and was confused (though pleased). It was labeled noncon but it was pretty much the definition of "enthusiastic consent". So, I guess people just have trouble with the topic.
