Re: Post!Secrets
It really pisses me off when I hear horror stories of kids who died or were permanently disabled or were sick for an inordinately long time because their parents thought modern medicine was a sin or something like that. Usually in the horror stories the parents are prosecuted, but I know they're able to get away with "smaller" thing (like vaccinations, health education, probably other stuff) on the grounds of religion.
Totally agreed about parental rights too. People who yell about parental rights kind of creep me out because it feels as though they think their kid is their property.
