33) I hear where you're coming from. For a long while I was interested in things that were a bit more niche and didn't have that large of a fanbase. It does make you feel kinda special to like things like that. Then when I saw Death Note, I fell totally in love with it, but experienced some of the same feelings of, "Oh noes, trendiness!" I've largely gotten over it, but still experience those feelings sometimes.

Really, all that matters is that YOU personally get something out of the series, and don't worry about what everyone else is doing. Don't be so harsh on yourself for liking something that lots of other people like - it doesn't have much bearing on who you are as an individual.
