But you got mad about the rey/kylo ren one in the secret a few days ago...

This author actually ships Thor/Loki and just wrote a crack fic. The Rey/Kylo author was bashing that ship (I think, I didn't read it and also don't know that author). I think that might be the difference.

That "fic" wasn't funny, tho. It was a meme that was already tired and a rant about Rey being a lesbian.

Same...no one is going to read that fic and think it's the pinnacle of fanfiction. It's easy and quick to read, that's why it's popular, even the author isn't trying their best.

I agree, but while I've enjoyed the hell out of crackfic, if this line is a good representation of this story I don't think I would read it. (Nothing against the author, it just doesn't look funny to me.)

I do understand the appeal of crackfic though; if that's what a person wants to write, they should.

It's not something I've read in every fandom, but sometimes it can be delightful, especially when the characters stay IC.

Good jokes are good. I remember when troll fics used to be detailed and overblow and ridiculous, true works of comedic genius. This is just a waste of cyberspace.
