So I'm getting 1000 back from my tax refund. Part of it is going to pay for my hotel during the bar that my parents originally paid. And part of it is for food while I'm in Boston.

I have two questions that are mostly the same. It is a decent chunk of money. And part of me wants to relax in Boston as much as a can. Meaning eating in the hotel (which will be more money). And maybe getting a massage in the hotel after the exam is over.

But the other part of me thinks I should probably be saving it all.

You'll get a tax refund next year, maybe not the same amount or so, but at least hopefully you will. Splurge a little.

You passed the friggin bar exam right?

That's kind of how I'm feeling. And I've been so tense for weeks that my back and shoulders are completely bunched and knotted. I think a massage would do me a lot of good.
