I'm glad I'm not the only one who dislikes Max Gladdtone. He is the friend of a friend and my friends act as though he is the best thing since sliced bread. I thought the first one was just ok, not that great. I do not understand why he is the new fandom darling.

ooh ouch - six degrees of separation doesn't help, I'm sure.

idk I mean I was looking for something atypical, fantasy-wise, and the setting was, but that was about the only good thing I could say. The plotline was cliche, the characters were cardboard, there was nothing worth finishing there.
