(Anonymous) 2016-01-31 10:40 pm (UTC)(link)All of that being said, one of the tools I used to try to help myself stay on track was an online account at beeminder. You can sign up for free, and you input a goal - in my case, it was weightloss. Every day, it emails you for an update, and as long as you stay on track, it's free. If you go off track once, you get a free do-over. However, if you fail again, you have to pay to start over. If you fail again, you have to pay more to start over. The theory is to find a point of pain for you so that you commit and don't completely fall off the wagon.
It wasn't the only thing that worked for me, but it was a helpful tool to keep me on track.
