Oh, yeah, the lasso and the bracelets are huge parts of the trademark. You can take away most of the weird tech and bling, but (outside non-standard treatments like the mod period) Wondy should usually have at least the bracelets and probably the lasso.

There is a vocal chunk of feminist Wonder Woman fandom who strongly prefer Wondy with the non-lethal, grasping lasso to the more generic, more lethal, and stereotypically phallic sword and shield recent versions sometimes carry. To them, the lasso is seen as a smarter and more feminine weapon.
