Sorry, but you can't base your entire self worth on what one person thinks of you. It's unrealistic and so flawed I'm surprised you even think it's a feasible plan. You also can't put the entire responsibility for having a good self-esteem on other people.

If you can't see anything in yourself that is good or worthy or loveable, then why not work so that there IS something good or worthy or lovable about you? If you're not willing to do that, then how do you expect others to see it?
