I am just one person, but I've had teeth issues my entire life and had I think 6 permanent teeth removed just to make room in my stupid tiny mouth. Including my top canines, so I have a significantly reduced "grip and tear" bite necessary to eat tough food. Thick crusty bread is very difficult for me to eat; I have to do it very slowly. I enjoy the flavor, but sometimes it's not worth the effort, tbh.

I eat soft bread crusts all the time. But don't expect me to be able to bite through a hard ciabatta roll. It's embarrassing. :(
