Oh, come on, stop overeating.

You don't know what kind of comments they are sending, it could be long-ish ones and they feel there's no point to do so if it's going to be a one way communication, so they stick to the... one way communication known as kudos.

And if they still send their appreciation to the author, what else do you want? Being worshiped with ~comments~ 'cause the readers should be eternally grateful of being blessed with the honor of reading a fic and kudos are not enough? And the readers are the entitles ones? Really?
