I know right?

Like when my friend pointed that out to me and we talked about it, it made me feel a lot more confident. If some dude can write a self insert fic about his enemies going to hell, and his self insert being considered too 'pure' for hell despite him reveling in his enemies' fates, and have it become a classic- well I think I could get away with pairing myself with this background character.

I like a few published fantasy novels with blatantly self insert protagonists. They're popular books too.
