+1, but it is surprising how much the 'starvation mode' argument comes up, even on boards that work with healthy weightloss. But, on the one hand, it does seem to deter the people who will try to get away with eating only 600 cals.

However, the anon above who wants the "a sensible amount" appended to this advice - this seems like a thing that goes without saying, and yet we always seem to have to say to everyone "obviously, only do this to a sensible amount." Why isn't the "sensible amount" a given?
