(Anonymous) 2016-02-06 03:23 am (UTC)(link)I found out I have an Ambassador certificate on my 3DS today! I bought my original 3DS used and never bothered to check if it had one. I formatted the system so I'd assumed that even if it had, I would've wiped it. Guess the original owner qualified and got it before I formatted, and it got attached to my NNID when I made it.
The tl;dr about the Ambassador system is that people who bought the 3DS before they dropped the price on it got free games as compensation for buying a $250 handheld system. This included GBA games that can't be bought on the 3DS eShop at all.
Since I could, I downloaded Yoshi's Island and Kirby and the Amazing Mirror. Then I also bought Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons too; it was originally why I was in the eShop digging around Virtual Console games. I'm pretty excited!
...I'll probably clean and do some writing too. Can't play video games all day! :p
