I am not calling a neglectful mother a rapist, I am stating that it's shitty to force a person who was clearly hurt in their childhood by a shitty family member into reconciling with that family member. In case you haven't noticed, society has a huge problem when certain people don't play along in families and dare to react to undesirable behavior in a way that doesn't involve performing their role as the dutiful, loving daughter/son/niece/nephew/sister/brother/etc.
