33. I don't mean to nitpick, but... has anyone in the history of ever actually referred to the Mystery Inc. as "Scoobies"? I thought it was always "Scooby and the gang".

52. Ya rly. What ever happened to "the Democratic candidate is just the lesser of two evils"? Which is not to say Obama is evil, God forbid, but must it always be either apathetic or fanatic in politics? Is there no level-headed middle ground anymore?

This scares me. I've seen Asian Communist propaganda arts that look just like this. Stop it, y'all.

70. WIN. I was *just* complaining last night that no one loves Xena anymore :D

...It looks more like a KFC ad to me.

How soon till the first black people/fried chicken joke?

That aesthetic is a takeoff on agitprop.

So, yeah, basically in Commoner's English...

The coloring/shading (excuse me, don't know the right terms), lettering, and pose are deliberate throwbacks to early Soviet propaganda posters. That graphic style is usually used in semi-ironic ways these days.

Well, you learn something new everyday. No, actually, I knew what it means. I saw that episode of Queer as Folk. Used within the boundaries of politics, this is too literal to be effectively ironic. Well into kitsch territory. Is "scagitprop" a word? Oooh, it definitely should be. Because this is stinky.

Now if someone made a KFC ad in this style... but I think they have. Product placement art (http://i26.tinypic.com/34pcpb6.jpg): funny. Fueling the conservatives: trying too hard. Wait, spoke too soon, here's an anti-feminist "tongue-in-cheekly" calling female Obama supporters swoony and dumb.
