I completely agree with this comment.

I hated Rose in the series, and when I saw Noa I had hope that the 'alter Rose' at least would be cool.... but she really did grate on my every nerve throughout the entire movie with all her hypocricy, and I actually liked Rose in the movie.


So, I guess I can thank Noa for showing me Rose wasn't all that bad after all... If nothing else.

Rose in the movie was actually pretty awesome when compared to Noa, you're totally right. Noa being the alter version of Rose confused me a little, since all the other alter versions counterparts were 'dead' in Amestris, other than her. Even Alfons... since Al technically died twice.

Ignoring the very minor characters that we don't -know- for sure, I have to ask where you come to the theory that all the alters are dead? Even though it was in the series and not the movie, we do meet Alter-Ed at some point, before his technical death - since that poor boy had so many... and if nothing else Gracia is another example of a living alter. Although I don't agree with the Al/Alfons theory it can probably be argued either way, so I'll give you that one. Poor Al really didn't need to die -twice- either...

and haha, thanks ♥~. I'm going to have to ask which one though, considering I tend to have two or three at a time. and although I colored one of them, none are technically mine.


and just because we've gotten so off-topic of the actual secret itself, I would like to add that even though I can't agree with appreciating that pairing, because it bothers me to no end for canon reasons, I do have to fully support the OPs reasoning for their secret at the very least. It's just unfortunate that the only pairing I know on it, I can't possibly defend because I can't help thinking that Noa's a weak character.

With Amestris, Xing, Ishbal and Liore- I think FMA has plenty of potential inter-racial pairings that could have demonstrated the point without a number of people responding with "Oh, ew... Noa? Are you serious?"

but... that's my rant- and I'm done now, I promise.

I think it was strictly from the movie, and yes, definitely the minor characters. Such as Lust, Pride, Hughes (gaah trust my mind to go blank now), Lyra, etc. But you're right, Gracia was there, along with alter!Ed (well, briefly at least), and Alfons of course. I just thought it was strange they didn't have an alter!Winry there (though as much as I like her, I'm glad they didn't; one's enough), or Mustang, or Riza, etc. But I suppose it was the makers way of giving the dead characters a cameo, looking back on it. And yes... poor Al suffered bad D:

Both pictures are adorable, now I scroll down XD ~ Kitty!Ed is love, as are movie!Ed and movie!Al.

I agree~ Heck, she could have used Rose in place of Noa, considering she's from Liore, though it's up to the OP what she ships. But as for interracial couples across fandoms, Yuna and Tidus from FFX is a perfect example.
