So, have you ever won a game of Betrayal when you're not the traitor? I think we've managed to win once out of about a dozen scenarios.

Our first time playing we won! But then again, none of us had any idea what we were doing and probably borked some stuff. We've only played about 6 times so far (having a toddler around sucks).

If we had won the first time as easily as we did this last time, I would probably never have played again. It was such a confluence of good items and pathetic evil that it seemed not fun.

For the record, it was the cannibals.

We've played twice at the full 6 players and both times the heroes have defeated the traitor. In our games, the heroes have fairly quickly killed off the traitor character (the 8-year old girl is somehow an amazing shot with the handgun) and then just had to deal with the monster(s) that were summoned. A lot of it has depended on the items that the heroes need to complete their endgame task, and they were lucky to have them/search for them both times. I was the traitor the first time we played and I was so annoyed they already had exactly what they needed to deal with part of the spider scenario.
