I've only ever seen them called 'speculoos,' but the cookies are getting more exposure in the US lately, especially in cookie butter form, which is my drug of choice.

I have seen both spellings used, and I'm thinking it might be a Dutch/Flemish thing but I'm not sure. And nice you get them there, nonny!
