You do realize that doctors say you're supposed to drink eight glasses of water a day.

How the hell does drinking water make you "drown in your own tissues"?

Yeah, true.

But just telling someone to drink lots of water isn't going to do that. During the summer I drank at least 3 Starbuck's large cup's worth of water in one shift.

At worst I had to take a bathroom break or two every hour.

I highly doubt the anon was seriously concerned OP would take "drink lots of water" as "go drink two gallons really fast". Or they would have opposed it when it was said earlier and not just because the user they don't like said it.

You can actually die from overhydration--if you are an ultramarathoner or have end-stage renal disease. Anyone else will be fine, especially if they have had a lot of coffee.
