(Anonymous) 2016-02-07 04:20 pm (UTC)(link)Most vegetarians (non-vegans) who have their diet directly because of animals tend to oppose animals being slaughtered. No animal dies for milk or an egg. Now, you could argue that if the animal is still in a factory farm, it still has a miserable life whether you slaughter it or not, but there's still no animal death involved in an egg or milk so your argument here is pretty weird.
Vegans are the ones who want nothing to do with animals in their daily consumption.
