Re: Poll: Too late to go out?

I had these friends in college who lived a ways off campus and if those of us who lived on campus went to visit them, we often wound up walking home since we'd stay past when the trains stopped running. My preferred route was past the area where the clubs were. My friends thought I was nuts to walk that way because of all the drunk clubbers and suggested I walk with them to their apartment and then cut over. But that way was poorlt lit, full of bushes and shadows, and the apartments were set back from the street. If someone grabbed me and I screamed, there's a good chance no one looking out a window would be able to see anything. By the clubs, it was very brightly lit and there were always a bunch of cops there to keep an eye on things. I felt much safer going that way when alone.
