My question when it comes to "father's rights" stuff is whether there is anything there that wouldn't be dealt with by fighting misogyny. Because the root of the lack of father's rights in this sort of thing is assumptions about women being nurturing and the primary childcarers. So to get to the root of it you have to fight sexism. So I think most of the time the stuff that men's rights groups want to fight about either aren't really problems or are problems better dealt with through feminism and the fight against misogyny.

If the actual disease is misogyny, then lack of father's rights is a symptom. I agree with you that the disease must be fought, but the symptoms have to be treated as well.
