God, I hate that argument (I understand the sarcasm :P). But I really, really, really fucking hate that argument. Like, I've grown up with women (I am also female) spouting off bullshit about "real men" and how men who won't fight for them are pussies or joking about men who are raped, etc. But heaven forbid you bring that up. That is just the patriarchy brainwashing women who can't be held accountable for their own actions because they are just weak little ladies.

Well, fuck those women. I grew up with some shitty beliefs (men don't cry, boys just want to always fuck, etc). I learned otherwise and corrected those beliefs. I didn't blame some invisible boogeyman. I realized I was being a little shit with shitty beliefs and I owned up to those shitty beliefs.
