Franky is amazing. I wasn't too sure about him in the beginning, but he certainly grows on you!

I prefer Franky's old design as well. Mostly because I somewhat ship him with Robin and I can't see her appreciating his new look, lol.

Omg fellow Frobin shipper, I actually think though she definitely doesn't feel the same way Luffy and Chopper she is amused by it.

Franky tried to fart Robin into safety and Robin crushed his nuts to make him join the crew - clearly, they are meant to be. xD

I think pre-timeskip Robin would have been morbidly amused by Franky's changes, but since the timeskip her characterisation changed and I'm not so sure anymore. Oda sure made sure it was clear that the women were not at all impressed by Franky's upgrades. :/
