Honestly I feel like Spidey always had a few villains with understandable or human motivations. So I get that.

I liked the power-set he got once he was Electro, but having him team-up with Spiderman could have been a neat twist, especially since Harry ended up going full-villain too. But imo this movie was a bit of a clusterfuck so we got what we got.

Yeah, I always wished he would live his dream, people would finally appreciate him, and he would eventually realize his own worth and not need others' validation (although thanks and occasional mentions of how great you are would be nice).
