How to recruit fans for small fandoms

(Anonymous) 2016-02-11 12:20 am (UTC)(link)
There are often secrets bemoaning a lack of fans and fic for small fandoms. Here are two LJ communities where you can pitch small fandoms for potential fans. Your pitch can be long and detailed or just a few lines telling why it is so worth it. No need to become a master writer to excite new fans there, in other words.

- There's currently a round of fandom pimpage going on there; it started February 1.

- A small fandoms' newsletter that also allow fandom pitches.

Do you know other places to meet minor fandom fans? Good pitching strategies?
