I think you care about this more than you should. Also, you do realize Genos and Saitama aren't an actual couple? Just let people enjoy the characters they way they want to.

I find comments like this so stupid. Do you really think secret!OP thinks Genos and Saitama are a real couple? Learn to read the tone. It's obvious they're speaking about fanworks, if them crossing out the whole "husbando" part wasn't obvious satire enough, even though to be honest nothing they really said in the secret bends canon at all, Genos is a pretty devoted house husband, even if it's not romantic.

Second, this is fandom secrets, where we talk about shit that bothers us in fandom, which...is what this secret is about? So you're basically saying "don't talk about this fandom thing in this fandom space!"

And no, as a fellow OPM fan I can see where secret!OP is coming from. There's been a recent influx of like young BL fans who have joined the series solely because of the whole Saitama/Genos thing, and I can see there being a shift towards a more BL, seme/uke dynamic (it's a tossup n whether Saitama is suddenly an uke woobie or Genos goes from being a demonic cyborg to a puppy dog though) and of course people latching onto Not-bald!Saitama because he looks more like a generic shounen lead with the black hair (and dead eyes, he's literally supposedly to look like he doesn't care about anything in the world so fucking hot). But it makes no sense from multiple angles. If you ship Genos/Saitama, Genos doesn't even know Saitama with hair, he meets him as a naked bald dude in the middle of the street, and that pretty much sets off the tone for their friendship. If you just like Saitama as a character, the period where he has hair is the period he doesn't care about all that much, why is that appealing?

It is "lookism" pretty much, and people are allowed to be pissed off about that, especially in cases like this where it changes the character in question pretty drastically.
