Who came up with barnacles as an acceptable substitute? Lol. That's mental. It's like the names of the characters in Asterix. I remember the first time I saw "Ils sont fous, ces Romains" translated into english a bit of my soul died. Which is really chauvinist of me, actually, but I can't help it.

Ouai, comment expliquer tonnere de Brest a un anglophone? Non seulement c'est Francais, c'est typiquement Breton. Tu parles, lol. J'etais en train d'expliquer la Bretagne a un Texan y'a deux jours. J'adore la mondialization.

Spielberg offcially announced that he's going to make three Tintin films and the first will be released 2009 or so. But it won't be live action, it will be the same 3D technique as the one they used for Golum in Lord of the Rings.
C'est aussi completement different en Allemand et en Russe, lol. (Je sais cela parce que je parle ces deux langues tres couramment.)
Eh oui, yay à la mondialization... quand même, les gens souvent persistent à conserver des stereotypes. :'(
