When people stop dying because they're LGBT, then I'll believe it's trendy. It's not actually trendy, it's just that sexually, a lot of straight men like to watch two "bisexual" or "lesbian" women go at it, and a lot of straight women like to watch two "bisexual" or "gay" men go at it in pornography. Porn isn't the problem, it's that people LOVE getting off on things in private or getting attention for it in a safe space, but the REAL WORLD absolutely doesn't tend to accept people for who they are.

If you hate something just because it APPEARS popular or trendy or whatever to YOU (there's proof that the less likely something controversial is, the media is more likely to report on it 300% to drum up fear or interest), then you're an absolute IDIOT. Less than 10% of the US population is gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, genderqueer, or pansexual. ALL OF THOSE QUEER SUBCOMMUNITIES COMBINED. Sorry, but there are more Deaf people alone in the US than queer people. Hating something because it appears popular is childish, really. Are you bigoted towards cisgendered straight persons because it's VERY trendy (and, to most people, the only "natural" orientation or gender identity) to be cisgendered and straight?
