I see your point, and I kind of agree with you on the "obscure" part.
The thing is, you can always read a secret about a fic or art without reference and see what the OP has to say about it; but if people start posting secrets in their own language, then you...can't read it at all :/ I think it would be a bit more frustrating than seeing fic or art without direct reference :/

But we have no idea what they're saying, and trying to find someone that understands every secret we get like that would be a major hassle -- I mean as far as we know, it could be like "so and so is a whiny fandom whore" and we'd have no idea.
