I think I'm immune to fandoms influencing how I feel about characters. I've seen enough stupid, cringey fandom things online that I just learn to accept that all the characters I like are going to have annoying fans in one form or another.

I have seen "sans nsfw asmr," undertail, numerous awkward crossovers/crack ships, reader/sans fanfiction, etc. He's still my #2 favorite character; I just turn a blind eye to his overexposure and weird shit his fans do.

wait, wtf is "Sans NSFW ASMR"? I have ASMR, but somehow I'm not connecting that to what little I know of this fandom. They don't even have canon voice actors do they? And like...why would there be ASMR of.....ughh never mind my head hurts already.

Anon, I know how you feel. And not just because of the Undertale fandom.

...there's a reason I got tired of Starscream in Transformers Prime as well. And Bumblebee in the Transformers fandom in GENERAL.

...and...well, it's also the reason I'm the heretic who hates Pikachu in Pokemon.
