Speaking as someone in their mid 30's with an entire friend circle that watches cartoons. Your friends are pretty crap if they can't handle that.

I would agree if that was the case, but the whole "hiding kiddy interests from your friends" thing can be more complicated than that. Maybe the OP's friends would be fine with it and OP knows it, but OP still doesn't want anyone to know they like kids' shows.

Nah I'm pretty sure it's mostly consuming media aimed at children because you're so emotionally underdeveloped that you can't cope with anything else.
