So I called my doctor today because they never got back to me about scheduling my surgery. So it takes multiple transfers and about 30 minutes to actually get ahold of the person I need to talk to. And she tells me that oh, the doctor actually wants to see you again and do a couple more tests before scheduling surgery.

Of course, no one had bothered to call me. And now the earliest appointment she has is March 17. Which means I won't be getting the surgery until at least the end of March. And meanwhile I'm in pain and taking way more painkillers than I want to be taking. And I'm just so frustrated because I thought I was going to be having surgery in early March.

Also, on top of that, the IRS has decided that my identity might have been stolen or something. I did my taxes the same as I did the year before, so I'm not sure what went wrong. But I tried to do it online and it seemed to think something was wrong. So I have to call them tomorrow. And it means I'm not getting my refund before I head to Boston on Friday.

I'm probably overreacting because of the stress of studying. But honestly I spent most of the day nearly in tears. I'm tired because I can't sleep in large part because of pain. And I can't even take the painkillers during the day because I wouldn't be able to study.

Jesus.

When you go to your doctor, you need to let him know that nobody got in touch with you. A member of his staff screwed you over on that one, and he needs to make sure it doesn't happen again.

The IRS is wrong about a lot and there is a chance they could be wrong about this. Call them, check your accounts to make sure nothing is wrong, and don't stress until you know for sure something is wrong. As the sage said, fear profits a man nothing.

I know the IRS is wrong because it is in relation to the Return I filed in what should have been enough time for the 21 day processing so I could get my check. The only thing I can think is that the address is different from last year. But I don't know why that would be a problem.

Yup, I definitely plan on letting her know what happened. I'm just frustrated right now. I need this taken care of. I shouldn't be in this much pain all the time. It is interfering with my studying.
