Give me your random, odd, funny, what not things you've overheard recently (or just remember).

Said by a young child: "Is the Dali Lama a wizard or something?"

In college, I overheard this girl telling our Bible Studies professor she was going to Hooters for her birthday dinner.

It was just a really odd place to say it. Also, I'm not sure what women get out of Hooters.

Maybe she was a lesbian?

AYRT - Good point, but I think she had a boyfriend. I guess she could've been bi...

I know ladies who have gone there for the wings.

Also, I once took a friend there because she wanted a t-shirt.

Hey, Hooters has good wings.

In high school, I overheard this guy say, "Dude, I didn't know lady bugs could fly! That's a freaking revelation, man!" When they started talking about acceptance letters, I learned that he'd gotten in UCLA and his friend laughed so hard the he started choking. It was just a really random thing to overhear.

I love this dude already without knowing anything else about him.

I don't know whether that makes me want to laugh or cry. xD

This was odd. I was at a cafe with some friends a while ago, and these girls were at the table next to us. The whole time they were sitting in almost total silence at with an iPod or something in between them, and you could hear someone screaming and crying. Among other things.

The thing is, they appeared to be listening more than watching. Some of them were just staring at the wall. O_o The whole thing was weird.

Back in high school I overheard a girl in my class telling her best friend that she was pregnant, hadn't told the father, and didn't know what to do about it. I thought it was so odd that she decided that a half-full classroom during lunch was the best place to tell anyone.

Watching The Force Awakens for the third time in a mostly empty theater. This one girl was sitting there with a friend/bf/or other and started giggling uncontrollably during the interrogation scene where Kylo Ren removes his helmet.

I couldn't tell if she was giggling because she thought he was cute or ugly or if she wanted to bone him, idk.

Maybe she had seen Girls and thought of his role in that?

Possibly! It was funny and annoying at the same time. But I usually enjoy hearing fangirl squeals during a movie because i feel like I have identified "one of my people". lol

Because he's ugly.

Once when I was walking by the lunchroom in high school, some kid started coughing, then when he was done, he said "I choked! On the green Runt!"

Also, I was walking down the hallway, when someone randomly yelled out "Moe!" five times, then turned to his friend and said "Every time I see that kid, I'm adding another Moe to his name."

"I'm so jealous of Black people, they tend to look better as they get older."
"Hugh Laurie's not Black!!"
