I was so excited I lept up from my computer to watch it when I was reminded. At the end I was really overcome with emotion.

I feel sad to see it end but I'm glad it's ending on it's own terms. Not being stretched out to make money and having the original creator kicked off because he doesn't want to go along with making his work into a zombie cash cow.

Especially seeing as Gravity Falls had so much personal meaning to Alex.

I just saw it. It really was a satisfying ending. Really, my only disappointment - and it's a tiny, tiny disappointment, but I love angst what can I say - is that the angst with Stan wasn't milked a bit more. That was some tasty angst.
Then again, this is a kids' show and it would have been pretty brutal, so I 100% get why they didn't.
